Tidal Stool

Tidal Stool, is still a working progress with the end goal of being performed at Tynemouth, King Edwards’s bay. The apparatus and drawings for this performance, were previously exhibited at Baltic 39 Newcastle as part of Herring’s Masters.
Tidal Stool would last for around 16 hours, the starting point would consist of the stool being placed at low tide buried into the sand at 4 foot, herring would then take his position on top of the pole and stay sat upon it until the tide had full drawn in and then drew fully out at which point the performance would finish.
