Stuart Herring’s work is an exploration of his personal understanding of existence and society. Undertaking absurd tasks designed to alter his perception and challenge that of the viewer’s common perception of ‘normal’ or ‘ordinary’.
This was another submerged work but was performed face down with concealed breathing tube. Similar to the idea of Bath, Herring was working towards the development of his abstained non-spiritual search for new experience.
